20% ||||| RSTS.21568.3 "STRENGTH of HEART" - Father Jerzy Popieluszko AVE and PARTER NUGGET BEADS, SAME: Spotted Chalcedony stones, a type of Quartz,naturally formed and rare. Each stone individually hand faceted. The red is from sard (carnelian) and black (Onyx). During the 1700's it was considered to ward off evil spirits but from ancient times chalcedony was used, not as ornament but as a connection between heaven and earth. It is the third foundation stone of the celestial Jerusalem. Ancient Hebrews saw the red, carnelian / ruby as a sign of justice and fairness. And was the first stone in the breastplate of Aaron. The black symbolized his strength as a priest. This is a large rosary.

||||| WHO WAS FATHER JERZY POPIELUSZKO? Jerzy Popieluszko: Born in Okopy near Suchowola (Poland), 14 September 1947 (Feast of the Holy Cross), martyred on 19 October 1984 Father Jerzy was a Polish Roman Catholic priest in a Communist land.

In 1979, Karol J�zef Wojtyla came home as Pope John Paul II to visit and encourage his fellow Polish people under the Communist rule. Father Jerzy was in the crowd and heard the Pope say the following words: BE NOT AFRAID
