BLUE LAPIS BEADS (Lazuli): mined for over 6000 years, known as the ‘Stone of Heaven’. Early Egyptians believed it symbolized the all embracing night sky. Its deep blue (from sulfur) is familiar to us with its veins of pyrite and calcite.
