AVE BEADS: 8mm white pearls (Mary carried white pearl rosary during visit)

PATER BEADS: Faceted blue, framed with filigree caps. Blue faceted spacers to carry color of the waistband Mary wore. Little yellow faceted beads symbolize yellow rosebuds at her feet.

WHO WAS ST BERNADETTE? January 7, 1844, April 16, 1879 Feast Day: April 16 / Feb 8 (France) Bernadette was a sickly child, contracting cholera as a toddler and suffered severe asthma for most of her life. She attended day school conducted by the Sisters of Charity and Christian Instruction from Nevers. Bernadette and her family lived in extreme poverty. At 14, she saw our Lady, with 18 visits total.
