Description
SMALL SPANISH COLONIAL CRUCIFIX: This little crucifix is a good example of the crucifixes made after the priests first came to Latin America with their crosses and crucifixes to give the indigenous people in the process of teaching them about the true God. The people began to make their own, somewhat copying the ones the priest brought. (This is a very small crucifix, just over 1.5 in including ring at top)
ABOUT OUR MEDALS: All medals, crucifixes, crosses, and rosary centers are hand cast from antique and vintage pieces in sterling silver and solid bronze then antiqued to restore the original patina.
