PATER BEADS: Large smooth turquoise beads, turquoise to remind us of her mysterious visits to ‘New Spain, now New Mexico, Texas and Arizona. Each Pater framed in antiqued metal caps.

CRUCIFIX: EVANGELIZATION CRUCIFIX – Spain, 1600 s – 1800’ (2.45 in.)

Rosary is made in the traditional “all one loop’ without a center piece.

(Part of the history of her mysterious apparitions tells of rosaries she gave the Indians who in turn baffled the Friars when they arrived seeing them carrying prayer beads and crosses.) – She tells of being carried by angels from Spain to the new land now known as America. The purpose was to evangelize the indigenous and tell them that soon men in black robes would be coming to tell them about the true God.
