STE RITA OF CASICA / ST CHRISTOPHER MEDAL: We have looked far and wide for this medal as so many have asked for it and very pleased we are able to offer it now. She is the Saint of impossible cases and her feast day is May 22.

ABOUT ST RITA (1381 – 1457): Born in Spoleto Italy, Rita begged her parents to enter the convent at an early age but her parents arranged her marriage to a man whose life was less than perfect. She bore 2 sons. When they died an untimely death, she became a nun. She had a great devotion to the Passion of Christ and begged, “Please let me suffer like you, Divine Saviour,” and instantly one of the thorns from the crucifix entered her forehead causing a deep wound that would not heal. It caused her to suffer the rest of her life. She died on May 22, 1457. She is the patroness of impossible cases. Her feast day is May 22.
