SANTA BARBARA MEDAL: Feast day Dec 4th. Martyred by her father Dioscuros in the 4c – Saint Barabara is the patroness of the military, in time of danger from thunderstorms, fires, prisoners and sudden death and in this image she is holding a chalice.
