ST GEORGE ON A HORSE MEDAL (LEGENDARY SLAYER OF A FEARSOME DRAGON: (3rd – 4th century Christian Martyr) Patron Saint of England, his cross is red and is on the Union Jack. This elegant medal showing St George in his battle with the Dragon is beautifully filigreed. Use on a necklace or a chaplet dedictated to St George who is also the ancient patron saint of soldiers. Feast Day April 23rd.
