AVE BEADS: 8 mm Lacey Agates or Crazy Lace Agates according to Geologists. Our Chinese Vender called them ‘DZI’ beads. DZI means “shine, brightness, clearness, splendor.” Its also “heaven’s bead” or “heaven’s pearl” A rare find, never to be seen again when gone. These ‘lace agates, are newly mined and marketed and have no history from any other culture.

PATER BEADS: Another great find at a recent Bead Show – from Czechoslovakia, these glass beads are called ‘ Carved Ovals with a matte finish – we love them! The bead is opaque although appears to be hollow or clear in the center. It is actually a natural matte that carries the colors of the Ave beads. Flat beads are comforting to the touch, easy for prayer and meditation. And love the way the antiqued filigree caps capture the bead and hold it in place! The glory is, they are giving praise to God alone.
