Description

BYZANTINE PERIOD (1000 AD or earlier) small, chunky and very primitive cross reflecting the Byzantine period. Very easy to use on jewelry or chaplets because of the bail placement. We do not know much more about this piece other than it is very typical of the crucifixes found during the Byzantine period. For those who love an out of the ordinary look.
