FOUNTAIN of SALVATION V: LAPIS LAZULI

AVE BEADS:  8 mm beads in deep shades of Lapiz blue stones , almost pure in color, rare and very hard to find.   (Semi Precious Stone – Afghanistan). Lapis (Lazuli) has been mined for over 6000 years. Its deep blue (from sulfur) is familiar to us with its veins of pyrite and calcite.

PATER BEADS: Design of these filigree beads has hardly changed for over 1000 years when introduced to the rosary making guilds.  Inspiring the period of filigree rosaries in the 1700s. Faceted silver filigree beads with bronze caps to add richness and dimension to the rosary.
