Description

MARY / CHILD / ANGELS: A small and rare cross imaging Mary with child Jesus. It is Greek in origin and believed to be from the 1800s. RELIQUARY CROSS: (See two rings at top, typical of reliquary crosses which carried relics. This cross would have been the top or the lid).  Also called an ENKOLPION: Greek, (Greek for ‘worn on the breast’) a term for small, personal reliquaries.

ABOUT OUR MEDALS: All our medals are hand cast from antiques and vintage pieces in sterling silver and solid bronze then antiqued to restore original patina.

PLEASE NOTE:  When trying to match up SAMSARA pieces with NON-SAMSARA pieces we will personally help match them for you.  Some of the metals/antiquing Samsara used in his old pieces do not match our own pieces, especially the Bronze can be very off color.  Please contact us if you need help!
