Description

ST MICHAEL of the SAINTS MEDAL: (Discalced Triniarian) St Michael de los Santos, Miguel de Santos – St Michael is a new one on us but is known for and is the Patron Saint against cancer. He was born Michael Argemir on September 29, 1591 in Spain and became a Trinitarian friar in 1607 as Michael of the Saints. He died at 33 but spent his life working for the poor and unfortunate and in adoration of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

After his death he was asked to interceed for Frances Sanz who had cancerous tumors on her lips and tongue and after 11 days of prayer, they disappeared. No scars were left. St Michael was cannonized by Pius IX on June 8th 1862 after many such miracles of healing. (Feast Day June 8)

ABOUT THE TRINITARIANS: Founded in 1198 to rescue slaves. Today they are parish priests, teachers and chaplains and work with alchoholics, addicts and the mentally imparied, the aged, lonely and deaf. Their desire is to unite all people in one voice of prayer for the cure of cancer. They wear a white robe with a red and blue cross on the breast. PRAYER FOR CANCER PATIENTS

Most Holy Trinity, Thou Who didst give us Saint Michael of the Saints as trusted friend and intercessor, and as patron of those afflicted with cancer, look with kindness on Thy servants who this day invoke his name.

Through his intercession, comfort those in distress, confirm those in doubt. Satisfy their spiritual needs from the treasury of Thy grace.

Remember all those who call on Thy help, but be especially solicitous of [Mention Name]. Restore health to this person and to all who are sick. Sanctify those who endure pain with Christ-like acceptance and grant to all of us a just reward in the life of glory to come.

In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
