STE JOAN OF ARC MEDAL: A wonderful little medal of Ste Joan of Arc. REVERSE is in French, unable to read fully but believe it says: “1412 – DOMREMY ORLEANS REIMS ROUEN – 1431” ,but unable to find translation.

FRENCH FOLK HERO: (ca. 1412 30 May 1431) Joan of Arc is a folk heroine of France and a Roman Catholic Saint. A peasant girl born in what is now eastern France who claimed divine guidance, she led the French army to several important victories during the Hundred Years’ War, which paved the way for the coronation of Charles VII of France.
