AVE BEADS: 8mm antique pale matte green beads of the finest Czechoslovakian quality. The tiny pale rose beads between each Ave give a flash of light that could be a dewdrop caught in the sun.

PATER BEADS:White and golden flowers framed in antiqued metal caps.

CRUCIFIX: ROSE CROSS of LISIEUX – France / early 1900’s – (2.25 in.)

CENTER: 2 ROSES CENTER – vintage, origin/age unknown (.75 in.)

ABOUT THE LITTLE SAINT: Saint Therese de Lisieux was born January 2, 1873, lived a short life, dying September 30, 1897. She was known as ‘Sainte Therese de l’Enfant-Jesus et de la Sainte Face (“Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face”). She was born Marie-Francoise-Therese Martin and was a Roman Catholic Carmelite nun who was canonized as a saint. She is one of the few saints recognized as a ‘Doctor of the Church.’ She is also known by many as “The Little Flower of Jesus.”
