BEADS: Antique German glass beads of soft peach with white each capped in antiqued filigree. Beads chosen as they symbolize in their feminine peachy hue the woman  given the revelation of the resurrection symbolized by the flash of white inclusions.

MEDAL: Mary Magdalena by medalist Egino Weinert.  (Medal 1.5 x 2 inches)

Available in either the traditional 9 bead chaplet (3 sets of 3) or the 10 bead chaplet.

MEDALIST: World renowned German artist, Egino Weinert, is a master in the field of sacred gold smithery, as well as a painter and sculptor. He has consigned pieces of art for Cathedrals and Churches throughout the world and is a favorite of John Paul II. Several of Mr. Weinert’s original enamel works may be seen in the Galleria Moderna of the Vatican Museum.

MARY MAGDALENA: Patroness of conversion and penance. Mary Magdalen is mentioned among the women who accompanied Christ and ministered to Him (Luke 8:2-3), where it is also said that seven devils were cast out of her (Mark 16:9). She stood at the foot of the cross (Mark 15:40; Matthew 27:56; John 19:25; Luke 23:49) and saw Christ laid in the tomb, and was the first recorded witness of the Resurrection.
