SAINT PIO of PIETRELCINA CHAPLET
BEADS: – Blood red drops, Opaque Czech glass called ‘2 window’ or ‘table cut’ beads. Framed in a matte brown. Design from an old glass bead mold when beads were made one at a time. Symbolizing his stigmata.
MEDAL: St. Pio by medalist Egino Weinert. (Medal 1.5 x 2 inches)
Available in the traditional 9 bead chaplet (3 sets of 3) or 10 bead chaplet.

ABOUT THE MEDALIST: World renowned German artist, Egino Weinert, is a master in the field of sacred gold smithery, as well as a painter and sculptor. He has consigned pieces of art for Cathedrals and Churches throughout the world and is a favorite of John Paul II. Several of Mr. Weinert’s original enamel works may be seen in the Galleria Moderna of the Vatican Museum.
SAINT PIO – ITALY (1887 – 1968) Priest, Stigmatist, Mystic, Saint. Padre Pio received the visible stigmata in 1918. He was a mystic and could read the hearts of people in confession, calling them to an honest confession by naming their sins.
