 PATER BEAD: 12mm Hand carved wooden beads with antique flower caps from Germany (1930’s- 60’s) To remind us of the children and their daily life in the fields where flowers grew and were probably picked!

DEDICATED TO LUCIA SANTOS
Lucia was born 22 March 1907, the youngest of 7 children, to Antonio and Maria Rosa Santos. Lucia was a brilliant child and a ‘natural leader’. She was able to help her little cousins Francisco and Jacinta through the difficult days following the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary. She entered Carmel in 1948 and became Sister Maria Lucia of the Immaculate Heart. She died Feb 13, 2005.

ABOUT OUR MEDALS: All our medals are hand cast from antiques in sterling silver and solid bronze then antiqued to restore original patina. Center is cut work of Mary of Carmel holding a rosary and scapular, Lourdes medal is attached to crucifix.
