BEADS: 10mm  Vintage glass cane reproductions. Crystal with burgundy inclusions; red symbolizing the passion and martyrdom of Philomena. These beads are also called table cuts and have a matted, textured surface.  Capped with antiqued bronze metal filigrees.

MEDAL: St Johh Vianney by medalist Egino Weinert. (Medal 1.5 x 2 inches)

HOW TO PRAY THE 9 BEAD CHAPLET – 1 Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory be on each set of 3’s.

MEDAL: World renowned German artist, Egino Weinert, is a master in the field of sacred gold smithery, as well as a painter and sculptor. He has consigned pieces of art for Cathedrals and Churches throughout the world and is a favorite of John Paul II. Several of Mr. Weinert’s original enamel works may be seen in the Galleria Moderna of the Vatican Museum.

SAINT JOHN VIANNEY: FRANCE – 1786 -1859  ) According to New Advent, ‘The greatest miracle of all was his life. He practiced mortification from his early youth and for forty years his food and sleep were insufficient, humanly speaking, to sustain life. And yet he laboured incessantly, with unfailing humility, gentleness, patience, and cheerfulness, until he was more than seventy-three years old. ‘ He was a firm supporter of St Philomena, asking her to intercede for many things and miracles were abundant. He was a mystic, orator and confessor/spiritual director. John Mary Vianney was canonized in 1925. ‘Prayer is the inner bath of love into which the soul plunges itself.’
