AVE BEADS: These very rare old beads from Gablonz are lamp work, hand made individually because they are all different in color and a bit in size. We purchased them with a group of beads from the same period, no later than the 50’s and possibly as early as the 20’s.   Hold these  beads up to natural light and they all appear to be the same lovely butterscotch color.

PATER BEADS: 12mm Crystal cube Paters are Swarovski and framed with antiqued filigree caps.

CRUCIFIX:  FOUR ROSES – vintage, unknown – (2.5 in.)

CENTER: 1860 / LOURDES CENTER – France/1860 – (1.25 x 1 in.)

MORE ABOUT THE RARE OLD GABLONZ BEADS: These beads came in from our Antique bead vender with several other beads from the early 20’s. Since the individual coloring, some with darker swirls and slightly irregular sizing suggests they may be lampwork, individually made. Doubt if they are any later than late 40’s – early 50’s.
